Criterion’s Security Engineers define, write, and test new security policies and procedures to ensure the continuity and vigilance of a large homeland security agency’s security posture and infrastructure. The team assists in the ongoing assessment of the organization’s security maturity and capability to identify, track, respond, and remediate security incidents using a variety of state-of-the-art technologies and tools. The secuirty team also provides security oversight and guidance to the CIO to help ensure that technologies are implemented effectively.

Providing 24 x 7 Incident Response

Criterion serves a “trusted advisor” available to handle security incidents 24 hours a day/7 days a week for a large civilian agency. Criterion offers complete array of security support services in the areas of technical security research, policy and web application security testing. The security team also provides expertise in areas that include incident handling and forensics, policy and guidance documentation, application testing and independent verification and validation.
