System Engineer
Position Description:
Responsible for identifying, outlining, and detailing use cases for Increments and Releases that result in functional, non-function, and system workload requirements documented in the applicable work products and deliverables. Able to independently translate these requirements into RUP based design level artifacts with suitable detail to fully inform and constrain development and test activities. Able to defend decisions during reviews.
Primary Job Duties:
- Hands on development of the range of systems engineering products: requirements, interfaces, trade studies, quantitative performance parameters.
- Independently Develop SE work products and ITLM documents such as a Systems Conops, Systems Requirements Document, System Subsystem Design Document, Interface Control Specifications, Service Level Agreements, trade studies.
- Direct participation with IPT SE personnel in the assessment, capture and documentation of functional use case requirements
- Support SE product status information communications to business, management and architecture personnel and leadership and reports status and issues through the contract technical leadership team

- Communicates effectively across business and IT teams,
- Someone who has hands-on design experience in UML (prefer using RSA),
- Someone who has use case and process model experience (prefer WBM experience),
- Someone who has demonstrated independent ability to think and work on complex solutioning problems,
- Can present to/work with the client, and has a team first attitude.
- Candidates with relevant immigration experience are favored.
- Desired Certifications: RUP/GS Method/SDLC/Other Equivalent Methodolgoy
Required experience: SQL – 3 yrs
- Oracle (type: Module, potal, etc) 3 yrs
- Data Architect 3 years
- Consulting 3 years
- EVM experience perfered
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience OR equivalent experience and training.
