Senior Java/J2EE Software Developer

General Overview:

This position will require a self-motivated developer to aid in the creation and implementation of an enterprise level application.  This position requires a person to have the unique combination of skills listed below.  Please note we are looking for a Strong Senior level Java Developer who is going to write code.  By “senior”, we are looking for someone with deep technical expertise rather than someone for a leadership role who’s been an architect or project manager for the last few years.  The Primary criteria for this project will be your ability to deliver code, be self-directed and help us build this platform.

Required Skills

• 3+ year of writing Java/JSP, J2EE/Servlets

• Familiar with RESTful web service design and HTTP

• Has used a NoSQL datastore or cloud storage

• Has deployed code to a cloud hosting provider (AWS/AppEngine, etc.)

• Familiar with web application monitoring and tuning

• Worked in an Agile environment

Bonus (not required):

• Has opinions on Internet Identity

• Has worked with OpenID/Oauth and related web specifications

• JavaScript

• Worked with Google/Facebook/twitter/etc., API’s.
