Criterion Systems Awarded U.S. Navy SeaPort-e Prime Contract

New Contract Vehicle Allows Company to Expand Mission-Critical Support to DoD

Vienna, VA, August 11, 2010 – Criterion Systems, a systems integrator providing innovative, technology-enabled business solutions to government agencies, has been awarded a SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) prime contract.

The SeaPort-e contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) established to facilitate a Navy-wide electronic procurement process. The government estimates that approximately $5.3 billion in services will be procured per year via orders issued under the program. The contract has a four-year base period.

“Criterion Systems has a history of delivering the innovative technical solutions our nation’s military forces require to maintain their competitive edge,” said Promod Sharma, President and CEO of Criterion. “With our new prime contract vehicle, we can leverage our successful track record to expand our footprint within the U.S. Navy. Our executive team has a long history of supporting our forces first as military officers and now leading the Criterion teams providing services and solutions to the armed forces.”

Criterion’s skill set and knowledgebase is aligned with the mission of the U.S. Navy. The company’s services and solutions cover the spectrum from cyber security, to software engineering, to test and evaluation, to providing high performance systems for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) fusion platforms.
